FFF Lease Program Please Inquire
I am so excited to announce this new program! I will be offering a lease program at
FFF! Leasing a horse or pony can be one educational step closer to owning a horse.
Leasing is more responsibility and a big step up from lessons. Leasing a horse
allows the freedom to take your time at the barn, on the ground, and in the saddle.
Leasing provides consistency with one horse or pony. For more information, or if you
would like to chat about the possibilities of leasing a horse or pony at FFF, please
don’t hesitate to chat with me.
Terms of a Lease: There are a few types of leases available at FFF (see below).
You can choose to do a one month lease (only a ONE month commitment, but can
renew the lease each month, or not) or sign up for 3 month lease (pay monthly rate,
for a 3 month commitment).
- One Month Lease: Student must take at least one scheduled lesson per week.
- Lease One: Lease one horse/pony for one day a week $100/Month
- Lease Two: Lease one horse/pony for two days a week $200/Month
- Lease Three: Lease one horse/pony for three days a week $300/Month
- 3 Month Lease: Student must take at least one scheduled lesson per week.
- Lease One: Lease one horse/pony for one day a week $75/Month
- Lease Two: Lease one horse/pony for two days a week $150/Month
- Lease Three: Lease one horse/pony for three days a week $225/Month
For example: If you are leasing for one month, you can choose to do LEASE ONE,
where you ride in your schedule lesson(s) at least once per week and come to FFF
on one other scheduled day to enjoy “your” leased horse/pony (unsupervised by FFF
associate), for the entire leased month.
If you are leasing for one month and choose to do LEASE TWO, you will ride
in your scheduled lesson(s) at least once per week and can come to enjoy “your”
leased horse/pony for two other scheduled days per week.
If you are leasing for one month and choose to do LEASE THREE, you will ride in your regularly scheduled lesson(s) and then come out to FFF on 3 other days to enjoy “your: leased horse/pony. Therefore, you will be at the barn for a minimum of 4 days per week, for the duration of your lease. If you choose to lease one horse/pony for 3 months, the same examples apply, but instead of one month, you will get to enjoy your leased horse/pony for 3 months for a reduced rate.
When you sign up to lease a horse/pony, I will let you know which horse/ponies are
available and on which days. You will then choose your desired horse or pony to
lease, under my guidance. Choosing the right match for the horse/pony and rider is
extremely important. I recommend choosing an equine friend that you feel confident
on the ground with and feel comfortable riding.
On your lease day(s), you can choose to hang out with your leased horse/pony, spend time grooming & beautifying them, ride in an “Open Ride Time” type situation or do all or any of the above. No one will be allowed in the barn or arena without a FFF associate present. At the time of setting up a lease, we will also set up your lease schedule: how many months, how many days per week, and the exact day(s) each week. Due to the FFF lesson program, If you are unable to make your scheduled lease day, unfortunately, there will not be a chance to reschedule the missed day.
Leasing a horse or pony can be for one student or shared among a family. Anyone
interested in leasing must be a current FFF student for a minimum of 6 months and
take at least one lesson at FFF per week. Each horse and pony at FFF is available
for certain leases on certain days, please inquire for more information on specific
horses/ponies.
This lease program will begin as of March 1, 2009. I will be offering the lease
program from March 2009 until December 2009 (and will reassess for 2010). During
the Barn Flies Summer Programs, all leasers must come to FFF after 3PM.
A lease may be terminated if any barn rule is broken. Any unnecessary cruelty, harm, punishment or abuse to any FFF animals will certainly lead to termination of the lease and possible termination as a student of FFF. Leases are subject to change with notification. All leasers must sign a lease agreement.
