Happy Horsemanship Hours $35.00/per rider/90 minutes
- This lesson is an educational, unmounted lesson. Happy Horsemanship Hours are
an important part of the FFF program as I believe in teaching the tools to create well
rounded equine enthusiasts. In HHH, I teach a variety of activities like how to
prepare for horse shows & show groom, clean tack, study horse behavior, learn the
FFF horses diet requirements and barn maintenance.
If time allows, we may also practice the 12 FFF Divisions. HHH run in conjunction with the weather and take place in the regularly scheduled lesson time. Usually, I will send out an email the morning of the lesson, if the lesson is to be canceled or changed to HHH.
Half Pints $40.00/per rider/30 minutes
- This private lesson is a great introduction for enthusiastic, younger riders to begin
learning about horseback riding. Open to riders ages 4-7. This lesson will give
younger riders a chance to build horseback riding muscle memory, balance in the
saddle, and learn the basics of grooming, tacking and riding. All Half Pint lessons will
most likely be taught while child is on a lead rope, being lead.
No child will be allowed to ride independently until they are comfortable, confident and have enough
balance and muscle to stay in the tack.
Dressage Days $45.00/per rider/90 minutes
Dressage is the foundation for most disciplines of riding, including the Hunter/Jumper
style of riding. Dressage takes time, patience and skill. Dressage is said to be,
“Dancing with Horses”. It is a fascinating disciple. Dressage is the compilation of
movements to form a test. In Dressage Days, I will teach the very basics of dressage
and we can practice the 2007 Intro Level, tests A & B:
